Adult Jumping Castles for Hire in Brisbane (Yes, They Exist)

Jumping castles for adults in Brisbane — disco domes, bouncy boxing rings and a 30-person inflatable nightclub. Weight ratings, sizes and prices for 18ths, 21sts, weddings and work dos.

Disco dome adult jumping castle lit up at night for a Brisbane party

Ask most people about jumping castles and they picture a Bluey-themed bouncer full of five-year-olds. But adults jump too — and they go a lot harder. Jumping castles for adults in Brisbane are a real thing, properly built for grown-up weight and grown-up parties: 18ths, 21sts, hens and bucks nights, weddings, sports presentations and work end-of-year dos.

The difference isn’t just size. Adult-rated inflatables are engineered with stronger seams, higher walls and verified weight tolerances, so eight adults can pile in without a problem. Some have disco lights and speakers built in. One is basically a portable nightclub. Here are five we hire across Greater Brisbane, with the specs that actually matter when you’re booking for adults.

1. Disco Dome with Speaker & Lights

The crowd favourite for night-time parties. The Disco Dome is a fully enclosed bouncer with LED lighting and a speaker system built into the walls and roof — plug in your playlist and it turns into a glowing dance floor that bounces. It photographs brilliantly after dark, which is half the reason it gets booked for 18ths and 21sts.

  • Size: 5.5 x 5 x 4 m (you’ll need about 6.5 x 6 m of clear space)
  • Holds: up to 6 adults at once
  • From: $450 for a 4-hour hire

See it on the Disco Dome hire page, or browse the full adult jumping castle range.

2. Inflatable Nightclub Marquee

This is the big one. The Inflatable Nightclub Marquee is a 7 x 7 m enclosed inflatable room rated for 30 adults — effectively a pop-up club you set up in a backyard, on a deck or at a venue. It’s the go-to for bigger 18ths and 21sts, milestone birthdays, formals and wedding after-parties where you want a dance space that’s the event itself, not a side attraction.

  • Size: 7 x 7 x 4 m (needs roughly 9 x 9 m of clear space)
  • Holds: 30 adults
  • Ages: strictly 18+
  • From: $695 for a 4-hour hire

It’s the largest adult inflatable we carry — details on the inflatable nightclub hire page.

3. Bouncy Boxing Ring

Two people, padded gloves, a soft inflatable ring, and a crowd that loses it every single time. The Bouncy Boxing Ring is the one that gets the whole party watching — it suits 18ths, bucks and hens nights, sports club presentations and corporate fun days. Everyone’s safe (the gloves and floor are heavily padded), and nobody walks away with anything worse than a bruised ego.

  • Size: 5 x 5 x 2 m
  • Holds: 2 people in the ring at a time
  • Ages: 10+ (great for teens through adults)
  • From: $350 for a 4-hour hire

It’s one of our interactive games too — pair it with sumo suits for a full backyard tournament.

4. Cowboy Western Adults Jumping Castle

A big, open bouncer themed in full western style, rated for adults and teens. The Cowboy Western castle is a straightforward “everyone get in and jump” inflatable — no enclosed walls, just a large 6 x 6 m bounce area that handles a steady rotation of grown-ups. It’s a solid pick for mixed-age parties where the adults want a turn too, sports clubs and casual backyard 18ths.

  • Size: 6 x 6 x 5 m (needs about 7 x 7 m of space)
  • Holds: 8 adults (or 10 kids)
  • From: $350 for a 4-hour hire

5. Disco Blue Adults Jumping Castle

Same adult-rated build as the Cowboy Western, with bright digitally printed blue “rave” graphics that lean into the party mood. The Disco Blue is an open bouncer (not enclosed like the Disco Dome), so it works just as well in daylight at a fete or a work family day as it does at a night-time birthday. Like the rest of the adult range, it’s built for eight adults at once.

  • Size: 6 x 5 x 4 m
  • Holds: 8 adults (or 10 kids)
  • From: $350 for a 4-hour hire

Browse it alongside the colourful adults castle and the rest of the lineup on the adult jumping castles page.

What makes a castle “adult-rated”?

It comes down to three things, and it’s worth checking all three before you book any adult inflatable in Brisbane:

  • Verified weight tolerance. Adult-rated units state how many adults they hold at once (ours hold 6–8, the nightclub marquee holds 30). A kids’ castle rated for “8 children” is not the same thing — don’t put grown-ups on it.
  • Build quality. Stronger seams, reinforced anchor points and higher walls. Adults bounce harder and land heavier.
  • Anchoring and supervision. Every inflatable we deliver is anchored to standard — pegs on grass, ballast on hard surfaces — and we don’t operate above a 30 km/h wind threshold. For big events with a lot of alcohol, a sober spotter or a supervised hire is a smart call.

What does adult jumping castle hire cost in Brisbane?

Most of our adult castles start at $350 for a 4-hour hire, with tiered rates for longer and all-weekend bookings. The Disco Dome (from $450) and the Inflatable Nightclub Marquee (from $695) sit higher because of the built-in lighting, sound and size. Delivery, setup and pack-down are on top — from $95 in inner Brisbane. You can check the fee for your postcode before you book.

Frequently asked questions

Can adults actually use jumping castles?

Yes — but only ones built for it. Adult-rated inflatables have verified weight tolerances (ours hold 6–8 adults, up to 30 in the nightclub marquee), stronger seams and higher walls. Standard kids’ castles are rated for children only and shouldn’t be used by adults.

What’s the difference between a disco dome and a regular adult castle?

A disco dome is fully enclosed with LED lighting and a speaker system built in, so it works as a glowing dance floor after dark. A regular adult castle (like the Cowboy Western or Disco Blue) is an open bouncer — great in daylight or at night, just without the built-in lights and sound.

Are adult jumping castles good for weddings?

They’re a popular late-night addition once the formalities are done. The Disco Dome and Inflatable Nightclub Marquee are the usual picks for receptions — see our weddings and formals page for ideas.

How much space do I need for an adult jumping castle?

Allow for the castle footprint plus about 1 metre clear on every side. The open castles need roughly 7 x 7 m, the Disco Dome about 6.5 x 6 m, and the Inflatable Nightclub Marquee around 9 x 9 m. Each product page lists exact dimensions.

Do you provide a supervisor for adult events?

Yes — a trained operator is available from $95/hr (weekday). For 18ths, 21sts and any event with a lot of alcohol, having someone manage entry, capacity and weather monitoring takes the pressure off you. See our supervised hire page.
