Standard popcorn machine hire starts at $195 for a 4-hour hire including 100 servings of popcorn kernels, oil and salt. The all-weekend rate is $275. The vintage popcorn cart is $245 — same machine, with a mobile cart that looks great in event photos.

How many servings is included?

Every machine includes 100 servings — enough for 80–120 guests depending on cup size. For larger events, upgrade to 200, 300 or 400 servings (each upgrade is $25). Or pair with the Fun Food Triple Pack for popcorn + fairy floss + snow cone in one bundle.

Does the popcorn machine need power?

Yes — standard 10-amp outlet within 25m of setup. The machine takes 10 minutes to heat up, then runs continuously throughout your hire. If your event is at a park with no power, add our generator hire for $150.

Can the kids serve themselves?

Yes — the machine is fully self-serve. Our team sets it up, demonstrates how to operate it, and leaves you to run it. Kids love serving themselves; parents love that there's no clean-up required.

Do you supply popcorn cups or bags?

Cups are included with every booking — enough for the included serving count. If you've upgraded to 200+ servings, additional cups come with the upgrade. We use food-safe paper cups, which are eco-friendlier than the polystyrene alternatives.
