Wet weather
Rained out? We'll work with you.
Inflatables can't operate safely in heavy rain or high winds. Here's exactly what happens.
The rules
- Wind: at 30 km/h, use must cease, users must evacuate and conditions must be monitored. At 35 km/h, equipment must be deflated and packed down.
- Heavy rain — castle is not used (slippery, electrical risk).
- Light rain — most castles can still be used; we make the call on the day.
- Storms or warnings — we follow Bureau of Meteorology guidance.
What we do
- Day before: We monitor BOM. If forecast looks bad, we contact you to discuss options.
- Morning of: Final go/no-go call by 8am. We text you either way.
- If we can't deliver: We'll contact you to discuss the postponement or cancellation policy that applies to your booking.
- If we deliver and weather turns: We come back and pick up early, with no additional collection fee. If weather prevents use after delivery, no refund or gift card will be issued.
Reschedule & postponement
If you postpone 7 or more days before your event, no postponement fee applies. We issue a gift card for the full value of payments made, valid for 36 months.
If you postpone less than 7 days before your event, a $250 postponement fee applies. If less than 48 hours' notice is given after a truck has been loaded or moved, a further $250 fee applies. We may waive the postponement fee at our discretion.
Cancellation policy
If you cancel rather than reschedule:
- 7 or more days before the event: the $250 non-refundable deposit is forfeited and you may choose a refund or credit for any remaining paid balance.
- Less than 7 days before the event: all funds paid are forfeited.
- On the day or at commencement of the event: all funds paid are forfeited and any unpaid balance becomes immediately payable.
For genuine acts of God, natural disasters or government-imposed shutdowns, we reserve the right to waive cancellation fees at our discretion.
Important: We'd much rather reschedule than risk an unsafe setup. There is no pressure from us to "go ahead" if conditions are dodgy. Full clauses are in our Terms & Conditions and Extra Charges Schedule.
