Wet weather
Rained out? We'll work with you.
Inflatables can't operate safely in heavy rain or high winds. Here's exactly what happens.
The rules
- Wind over 30 km/h — inflatables don't operate. Manufacturer safety standard.
- Heavy rain — castle is not used (slippery, electrical risk).
- Light rain — most castles can still be used; we make the call on the day.
- Storms or warnings — we follow Bureau of Meteorology guidance.
What we do
- Day before: We monitor BOM. If forecast looks bad, we contact you to discuss options.
- Morning of: Final go/no-go call by 8am. We text you either way.
- If we can't deliver: We'll offer one of: reschedule (free, within 3 years), credit for future hire, or refund per our cancellation policy below. Your choice.
- If we deliver and weather turns: We come back and pick up early — you don't pay extra.
Reschedule & postponement
You can reschedule for any reason — wet weather, illness, change of plans — up to 7 days before your event at no charge. We issue a gift card for the full value of your booking, valid for 3 years.
Inside 7 days, a 25% fee (minimum $250) applies to cover unloading, scheduling and lost income on allocated equipment. We can waive this at our discretion for genuine wet weather.
Cancellation policy
If you cancel rather than reschedule:
- More than 7 days' notice: 50% non-refundable deposit is forfeited; any balance paid is refunded.
- Less than 7 days' notice (or on the day): all funds paid are forfeited.
For genuine acts of God, natural disasters or government-imposed shutdowns, we reserve the right to waive cancellation fees at our discretion.
Important: We'd much rather reschedule than risk an unsafe setup. There is no pressure from us to "go ahead" if conditions are dodgy. Full clauses are in our Terms & Conditions and Extra Charges Schedule.
