What types of inflatables can I hire in Brisbane?

Most people think "jumping castle" and stop there. Brisbane's inflatable scene is much broader. Our range covers nine distinct categories:

• Medium jumping castles — themed castles (Frozen, Princess, Batman, Unicorn, Dinosaur, Minions) sized 4×4m to 5×5m. The classic kids' birthday hire. From $225.

• Adult jumping castles — rated for teens and adults. Perfect for weddings, 18ths, 21sts and corporate events.
• Water slides — dual-lane backyard slides through to 9m commercial water slides. Just connect a garden hose. Peak season is October to March. From $295.
• Dry inflatable slides — standalone slides up to 8m tall for year-round use.
• Obstacle courses — junior courses for kids' parties through to 40m bootcamp courses for corporate team-building and school sports days. From $495.
• Interactive games — sumo suits, Hungry Hippos, Wipeout, giant Twister, Connect 4, foam pits.
• Inflatable sports games — basketball shootouts, archery tag, soccer cages.

How much does inflatable hire cost in Brisbane?

Inflatable hire pricing in Brisbane depends on three things: size, hire duration and supervision. As a rough guide:

• Medium castles (kids' birthday standard) — from $225 for a 4-hour hire
• Combo castles with slide — from $295
• Water slides — from $295
• Obstacle courses — from $495
• Multi-item packages — bundle discounts apply when you hire two or more inflatables together

Delivery within 20km of our Geebung warehouse is included. Beyond that, a small per-km surcharge applies. Setup and pack-down are always included in the hire price. There's no labour fee unless you book a supervised hire (where a trained operator stays on-site for the full duration — see supervised hire).

How safe are your inflatables?

Every inflatable we hire complies with AS 3533.4.1:2018, the Australian Standard for inflatable amusement devices. We carry $20m public liability insurance through Sports Underwriting Australia and supply a Certificate of Currency free with every hire — essential if you're hiring for a school, council or corporate event. Can I hire an inflatable for a school fete or corporate event?

Yes — schools, councils and corporates make up a big share of our work. For these events we recommend supervised hire, where a trained BJC operator stays on-site for the full duration. What happens if it rains?

Brisbane weather is unpredictable. Our policy: light rain is fine on dry inflatables and water slides. Heavy rain or strong winds (over 40 km/h) mean we'll contact you to reschedule for free, or swap to an indoor-friendly option like a marquee combo. How early should I book?

Weekends in peak season (October to March) book out 4 to 8 weeks ahead. School fete season (terms 3 and 4) and the lead-up to Christmas are the busiest weeks of the year — book at least 8 weeks ahead for those. Off-peak (May–August) you can usually book 2 weeks out and still get your first choice.
